Lynn Mckinnie Belt

Lynn became a personal trainer in 2004 following a life-changing event - the loss of her older brother to a heart attack related to severe obesity. This tragedy ignited her passion for helping others transform their health and lives through fitness.

She earned her initial certification through ISSA at Powerhouse Gym in Temecula, California, and went on to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science/Sports Management from California University of Pennsylvania. Today, she holds multiple training and nutrition certifications.

Lynn's journey in strength training began in the early 2000s, and she competed in her first NPC figure bodybuilding competition in Las Vegas in 2004. Since then, she has participated in 8 local figure and women's bodybuilding contests, giving her firsthand experience in competition prep.

With years of experience working with diverse populations - from youth to seniors, medical rehab patients to fitness competitors - Lynn brings a wealth of knowledge to every client relationship. She has a particular passion for working with post-cancer patients, helping them rebuild their strength and feel healthy once again.

Beyond her fitness career, Lynn has operated Simply Detailed Bookkeeping since 1995. She is a proud single mother of two adult children, Taylor and Trevor, and a loving grandmother to two granddaughters.

Today, Lynn offers both in-person training in the Lake Norman, NC area and 24/7 online training and nutrition coaching to clients worldwide.
